We are deeply grateful for the trust and support you’ve shown in this election. On behalf of Brian and myself, we’re honored to serve the community as part of a Board committed to educational excellence for our students. Together, we can build a strong foundation rooted in transparency, accountability, and a shared vision for our schools. We’ve already reached out to the Board and district leadership to start building that partnership! We look forward to working with the continuing board members, including Danielle Bellomo, following her successful election last night.

We also look forward to working closely with our community and families, exploring new ways to foster positive, productive relationships with everyone who cares so deeply about our children’s future.

Lastly, Brian and I are saddened that Nirav won’t be joining us on this journey next year, but we’ll carry forward his commitment and vision in our work. We’re encouraged by his dedication to the success of all Marlboro students. Thank you, Nirav, for being such a driving force in the Partners Improving Education campaign.

Our view on policy 5756

The question from our community:

What is your stance on trans rule they passed last June? In what ways do you have experience in education?

Our View on Policy 5756 and Moving Forward with Marlboro Township Public Schools:

We understand the intent of Policy 5756 to balance parental rights with student safety, but the ongoing legal battle is proving to be a costly and divisive distraction. This fight is draining resources and Board energy that could be better spent on our core mission—education—and ultimately, it’s the taxpayers and students who bear the burden.

We believe there’s a more constructive path. The current board’s insistence on pursuing this expensive legal route isn’t serving the best interests of our community. As potential Board members, we advocate for a new approach that prioritizes community engagement. We aim to bring together parental rights advocates, LGBTQ+ community members, school board representatives, and state officials to find a collaborative resolution.

Our goal is to establish clear guidelines that protect and support students and parents on these sensitive issues. We also plan to work closely with state officials to develop a non-discriminatory policy that honors both student and parental rights. It’s time to move away from conflict and towards a solution that benefits everyone.

There has to be a better way to proceed and we are committed to find one!
