We are deeply grateful for the trust and support you’ve shown in this election. On behalf of Brian and myself, we’re honored to serve the community as part of a Board committed to educational excellence for our students. Together, we can build a strong foundation rooted in transparency, accountability, and a shared vision for our schools. We’ve already reached out to the Board and district leadership to start building that partnership! We look forward to working with the continuing board members, including Danielle Bellomo, following her successful election last night.

We also look forward to working closely with our community and families, exploring new ways to foster positive, productive relationships with everyone who cares so deeply about our children’s future.

Lastly, Brian and I are saddened that Nirav won’t be joining us on this journey next year, but we’ll carry forward his commitment and vision in our work. We’re encouraged by his dedication to the success of all Marlboro students. Thank you, Nirav, for being such a driving force in the Partners Improving Education campaign.

Campaigning with politicians

Absolutely not. Politics has no place in the daily business of the Board of Education. We firmly believe that education should remain a non-partisan space dedicated solely to the best interests of our students.

Admin and teacher pay increase gap

Pay should reflect the duties and contributions of all school staff, including both teachers and administrators. It’s important to make sure teachers, who directly impact students’ learning, are fairly paid for their work.

Superintendent bonuses

We believe superintendent bonuses, like any performance-based incentives, should be well thought out and based on measurable outcomes that help students and the school community. The criteria should be clear to everyone, ensuring the bonuses are fair and in the best interests of the students and the district.

Political beliefs in schools

We think schools should be neutral and welcoming spaces where students feel safe sharing their own thoughts and beliefs. Teachers, like everyone, have their personal political views, but it’s crucial they stay professional and impartial in the classroom.

About informed parents

Parents play a crucial role in the success of our students, and it is essential that they are fully engaged and informed about their child’s education. Every parent has the right to know what their child is learning, the teaching tools being utilized, details of assemblies, and any incidents that may occur during the school day.
